# Koder CLI 0.5.21 Failed or unverified tasks now show a diagnostic card with a report ID, the specific error code, a known cause or an explicit unknown cause, tool execution states, and the next step. - Use `/error` to view the last diagnostic in the current chat and `/error copy` to copy a redacted report. After closing Koder, use `koder logs report [id] --json` or `--copy`. - Preserve underlying mailbox and provider errors instead of reporting only a generic unfinished task. Background mailbox errors produce a deduplicated report without failing the foreground task. - Include early exceptions, JSON task results and resident-agent transport. Reports are local, follow the Setup telemetry switch and never upload automatically. Clipboard failure offers manual copying. - Keep design reading and preview tools available for website delivery under an 8K context budget, including the fallback when the fullstack Skill is disabled. - Retain all 74 unique bundled Skills and ship one set of current platform tutorials. The existing limited permission for built-in local code repair is now included inside each package as well as the release assets. Cancellation, cost budgets, permissions and unconfirmed-effect protection remain active. A report does not replay a command or claim an unknown result succeeded. ## Install or update Run `koder update`, reopen Koder and check `koder --version`. New installations can use the [Windows/macOS/Linux guide](https://github.com/KarmenLoop/koder-cli/blob/main/docs/INSTALLATION.md). Ubuntu has dedicated [24.04](https://github.com/KarmenLoop/koder-cli/releases/download/cli-0.5.21/koder-ubuntu-24.04.sh) and [26.04](https://github.com/KarmenLoop/koder-cli/releases/download/cli-0.5.21/koder-ubuntu-26.04.sh) installers. Windows uses `koder-cli-0.5.21.tgz`; macOS and Linux use their smaller platform archives. Package and installer hashes are in `SHA256SUMS`. Checks include actual CLI failure handling, a simulated interactive terminal, report privacy, log rotation, telemetry opt-out, mailbox chains and website delivery. A packaged local preview server returned HTTP 200 and was stopped afterward. All three archive inventories and their listed hashes were verified. The two initial regression failures remain recorded; their assertions were not weakened. These are deterministic runtime and loopback checks, not a new paid-model benchmark. The original ten-question target remains unmet: its historical record is zero verified complete deliveries, eight qualified SKIP records and two deadline cancellations. Missing task material and ineffective attempts are not regraded as successes. Windows physical acceptance and the dedicated 163 mailbox remain beta-owned; native Linux clipboard/notification checks and macOS locked-use signing remain outstanding. `ACCEPTANCE-RESULTS.json` records the evidence and limits. This release updates GitHub downloads and guides. It does not publish private runtime Git source or change the website.
