# Permission for built-in local code repair Applies to the Koder-owned portions of the official Koder CLI 0.5.21 distribution, dated October 29, 2026. KARMENLOOP grants users who are otherwise licensed to use this distribution additional permission to generate, retain and execute local patches through the official built-in `koder self-repair` / `cli_repair` workflow, within that version's supported feature-module list and verification controls. Users may retain a local predecessor for rollback. This permission covers personal local repair and repair within a separately authorized organizational deployment. This is the written permission for that limited workflow referred to in section 3 of Koder-EULA-1.1. It does not grant general modification, redistribution, resale or derivative-product rights in the proprietary implementation or private kernel. It does not grant access to private development source, override third-party licenses, or expand the permitted commercial use of the software. Other terms of the applicable license remain unchanged. Earlier open-source and third-party rights remain intact. Repair is off by default. Enable it explicitly in Setup or with `koder self-repair on`. Permission to use the feature is separate from operating-system access, credentials, paid model requests and task approval. Generated patches execute as local code; passing checks are not a guarantee of safety or correctness. The documented module list, original-file preservation, hash checks, cancellation, cost limits and rollback controls continue to apply. This permission accompanies the official release and applies to its published package hashes. It is not a replacement EULA and does not change the hash of the EULA shipped inside those packages. See [the repair guide](https://github.com/KarmenLoop/koder-cli/blob/main/docs/SELF-REPAIR.md). Licensing questions: info@karmenloop.com.
